I was bridesmaid to Kathleen when I was 7 years old in 1955.  I was so thrilled that she chose me!  She came to stay with Alan and I quite often after Alan had taken early retirement, and we always had a wonderful time entertaining her. Kathleen always had such interesting things to tell me, especially about her family (her eldest sister, Margaret, was my Mother).  I learnt such a lot from her.  While she was waiting to move into the house in Worthing with Paula, she stayed with me.  It was a very enjoyable time.
