We had a wonderful dressing up box when we were growing up. For birthday and Christmas presents Grandma would send us a parcel with fabulous outfits she had made, together with hats, necklaces, handbags, shoes and any other accessories she could find. All the items would be wrapped in tissue paper. Such lovely presents to receive and unwrap!

This exciting dressing up box provided hours of imaginative play for us, our cousins and friends.

When we had grown out of dressing up clothes Mum was able to use the box again in her classroom at the primary school where she taught. It was extremely popular!
