General election 2017

At the time of the 2017 general election, Mum was living in her flat in Worthing, having moved from Newent the previous year.  She was keen to vote but had difficulty finding out where her local polling station was. Not using the internet, and not finding anything in the local paper, she eventually telephoned the office of the local MP (who happened to be a Conservative - Sir Peter Bottomley).  She was surprised when the MP's agent answered, and he very kindly offered to pick her up in his car and take her to the polling station.  She accepted, and travelled there with him.  On arrival, she thanked him very much, went into the polling station and cast her vote - for the Liberal Democrat candidate.
